Bombardier SMGs - how often do you see them in the wild?

Just of interest, how common are bombardier SMGs?

I’ve seen them on youtube and a few times in game, but my guess is there are very rare.

Is it possible to get them from lock boxes or somewhere else?
For some reason, when I read ‘new weapon base’, I hoped it would be more common.

I merely wanted to manage my expectations of ever getting my hands on one.

They were common during the Nano Volatility event. That event was several months ago so most of the people who have them have stopped playing by now. There is a variant JP called Oblivion that was recently available in the elite box.

I sold a few purple ones yesterday fully t3 for 50k ea .. the lockbox ( bought with 64 keys ) has the oblivion jp smg ... I believe it is of the bombardier type . ( haven't even fired mine that I received 3 days ago lol )

Bombardier just came out during the NVF event a couple of months ago but is not in the regular pool of guns. I am sure you can find a non Jackpot version to trade for or you can try the NVF loyalty box. Also the current Elite Box JP (Oblivion) is also a Bombardier.

Rarely seen a Motu for sale, usually in trade since their so prized. I have been seeing a few non JP versions for sale recently due to ppl getting Oblivion's. But this was on PS3 NA, so that don't help you. I'm sure if you asked around in zone or if you look at the buy/trade section you can find one. GL

I got oblivion out of the lockbox (64) at the fork 2 days ago. Ialso heard someone else pulled 2 the same day but don't no where from.

I guess you don't mean purchasing the Oblivion (say) for 500 units from the "Loyalty Vendor - Jackpot Items" box:


If I get one unit per day logged it, it'll take over a year! Is there a quicker way of earning those credits? Or is that there for the really dedicated players who have missed out on a jp?

yes, the one for 22 loyalty is the one he is referring to . If you buy something for the 500 , better off buying one of the jackpots you can trade for about any multiples of jackpots of your liking...

Today, one of my 'peppy' clan-mates was asking a lot more for a Purple NVF Bombardier SMG (sub 1500 ego and I'm on 4800, so it will cost a fair chunk of arkforge). I'm not sure what the mods were, but their price was far more scrip then I'll ever make!

That just goes to show that the value of any gun is only worth what the seller can get a buyer to pay. Most decent players will only charge a fair price not an exorbitant one. As for how much scrip you will make, well keep playing the millions add up. Not that most people will sell you JP weps for money they want you to trade them a wep of at least equal status.
