I like it a lot. I've had it for a few days now and it's a ton of fun. Do a mission. Do a few events. Go for a drive. Do some co~op. Shoot things. I don't play it for hours on end. I don't care about leader boards or what level I am. I kind of feel sorry for those who spent the last week relentlessly grinding, worrying about their stats and being first. They pretty much ruined the game for themselves.

Oh, I get it. You mean for most MMO quests you at least have to return to the quest giver >after< killing x number of mobs or averting magi-nuclear disaster #1217.
You know, even playing along with your extreme generalization in an attempt to defend the awful side quests in this game, I will say yes, that is more interesting actually. At least I get some closure to the story presented at the beginning of the quest in other games as opposed to the sidequests here when i do return to that questgiver.

Who said that? stop making stuff up.

There are lots of valid concerns in this topic. Now it is up to devs if they want to pay attention to it or not because the way it is now don't be surprised if population drops like a dead fly in a week or so.
Not that it would make much difference considering it is a single player game through and through.

I have actually, none better then this though. DCUO was close. Not a fan of most MMORPG's which you no doubt are referring too. I'd much rather be responsible for my win or death based on my skill or lack there off then standing next to the enemy pressing numbered keys until either I die or they die.

    This is fun, for me.

In Defiance, everything looks bland, nothing as of yet has stopped me in my tracks and thought "wow, what is that? I want one.."
Making stuff up? No. You need too read more.

You want "closure"? What are you 12 lol

You got asked by Cooper to go poison some POW's. You get there killed some bandits and then poisoned them. Mission Complete.

...if you haven't got the imagination to think "hmmm I bet when the Raiders eat those POWS they die" then you have serious issues.

Watching Inception must have been upsetting for you given the ending?

You are taking one post completely out of context as if that is what these 26 pages have been about.
