You could have simply posted Dev's please look... or to any Dev who cares... or Hey Destro check this out... but doing Destromath: mimicing a developers post is still inappropriate and your post was corrected as such. It's not my fault the moderators don't like it any more then I do.

I agree it's a dead issue because the moderators remove the name heading from the post titles so they don't get confused as Dev-Tracker postings ... so it's all good in the Defiance Forums Neighborhood!

Agreed when you look in the dev tracker they appear that way but this or any other thread posted by a community member won't appear in the dev tracker so there's no argument there.
Destromathe or any other employees as far as I'm aware don't put their username in the heading unless it was in the news and announcement forum where they were introducing themselves.

It's a thread because I'm fairly certain it breaks rule number 15. When you post a thread that reads like a Dev Tracker post...

    15. Do not impersonate others.
This includes staff, other players, or people from other companies. Any attempts at impersonation of another will result in a severe punishment.

In no way did that thread read as if he was imposing as one of the devs, if someone had started a new username that had a similar spelling as a dev and created a thread to mimic one then yes but you have to give the mods some common sense as to see past that.

Well if you actually read the posts and the names of who posted you would know the common knowledge that the rest of us possess when we see a thread. The devs do not make official threads with their names on it unless they are introducing someone new or to say a farewell to a dev that is leaving. They did not at all impersonate a dev. Also if you ever used the dev tracker you would see what threads are made by the devs.

When Develeopers post threads... http://forums.defiance.com/forumdisp...?8-Dev-Tracker ... whenever a developer posts on the forums it looks like this Developersname: .... So any post title that mimics that format probably violates the rule... otherwise why would teh moderators edit the name: out of the post title? But whatever if I'm the only one it was annoying to then so be it.

Yeah that's the dev tracker but what if I told you that if the devs name is in the title it will be in the dev tracker as Developer: Developer: Title
An obvious give away that it is not a dev's post
