You all may not care... maybe you bother to look at the OP's name for the posts before looking at the title... whatever the case may be. Apparently I was not the only one who thought this was annoying and inappropriate otherwise they wouldn't go back and change the titles to redact the names. By most forum standards copying or pretending to be a developer in any way including post title would usually get you a ban so... JS
Oh okay. So, this is more so a rant or personal opinion on the community if I am understanding correctly? I looked over the original post and I thought you were complaining about not being able to decipher which posts were made by the devs. Which is why I suggested the "Dev Tracker" which is why it's there, to help you. I originally thought you were seeking help in deciphering which posts were by devs. However, it now seems you were only using that as a form of cover in order to indirectly fulminate about the behavior of certain forum members. I cannot help you if that is the case.

Also, please do not make the assumption that they are only doing it to as you have stated, "pretending to be a developer."
As triggered has already said, he himself did it to grab the attention of a dev in order to fix a game mechanic (fixing things is good!) It might not be appropriate or even work, but I can certainly understand the frustration which would lead a person to making such a post. It takes several days to simply get an e-mail from a Dev. Sometimes you have to even resend your message(s) because it got overlooked.

I am not sure why you decided to make a thread about it if you have already noticed the devs are taking care of the problem quite well on their own. Other then to bash on your fellow Defiance community. I can respect that you strive to keep things 100% positive and that you're not very pleased with negativity on the Defiance forum. However, it has been noticed you tend to post just as many negative & rash complaints about your fellow ark hunters as opposed to the amount of "negative" posts about game issues from "negative" members. Which by you doing so, is pretty much hypocritical of what you proclaim about being positive. If you wish to help police the forums, may I suggest joining their moderation team if you possess the applicable qualifications. Otherwise if you have a problem with your fellow community members, might I suggest contacting the forum moderation team (it is why their jobs exist) rather than resorting to direct/indirect public bashing on fellow ark hunters. Posting threads like this one will only lead to members attacking one another resulting in forum toxicity. You've already stated that you have noticed the mods are aware of it and are taking care of it appropriately. This no reason to continue on the matter any further.

Your link isn't working, what does that tell you?
