Bottom line is that your odds don't get better over time. Even if you tried to supreme that weapon 1,000 times at 55%, each time the odds are still 45% that it's going to fail - it never becomes more likely to succeed.

My most recent failures have me at over 4000 forge spent without success. It's simply the way of the game unless you do 100%, it will always be a gamble. I've made peace with it. All good.
