Might be a friend or glitched into your group,I had a guy glitches into my expo that wasn't on group list but was running around and couldn't kick him

Never experienced that in a co pp or expo, but PvE I see it alot and it's usually a friend.

should have stated it was player friends never random players. apologies for not clarifying but that dosnt explain why or what it means.

Ive always thought it was a friend that you had jumped to or a friend who jumped to you.
Would love to know for sure though.

Why is a raven like a writing desk?

It simply means they are on your friends list, that's all..
It's a slightly different shade of bright green if you compare it to the group dot color.
Which is strange because when you look at them when you are standing next to them, their font is a light blue, which I guess was what the dot was meant to be rather than green.
But still, they totally could of made it a different color..
Probably doesn't work well for colorblind people. (Insert witty GIF below.)

its been established that they are on friends list but not everyone on a friends list shows up this color. most friends show up as purple dots and clan members that are also friends show up as blue dots so why do certain people show up as green when not in group?
