@Sledge - [Bug] Roller Rank Up Bug - Skill Reset to 1

You get EGO Rating for skill level ups did anyone happen to pay attention to the behavior of their EGO Rating during this process? Ex. Did your EGO Rating continue raising as you went past cap? Did you lose EGO Rating when it reset to rank 1?

This could be a huge issue if it's not addressed in the developers fix. Could end up with players well over the 5000 ego rating cap at some point or players that absolutely can't reach it.

Is not the Ego rating reset. Is the STATS that reset. Hit L, and look for "stats" tab.

@Inque I am sorry you feel we are not listening. I have responded to a few threads on this topic that have more responses then yours. We are getting 100's of duplicate reports for the same issues. Unfortunately we just do not have the time to respond to every single one.

We are very much aware of this issue and are working to resolve.

I appreciate the reply sledge. I know you guys are passionate which is why i previously said before i have no doubt you guys are hard at work but this may be a great opportunity to maximize your efforts of reaching out to the community by making a central place that people can visit on the forum to identify that their issues are being identified as searching thru a forum is not ideal and peoples voices get lost in the mix sometimes when they have valid points or concerns that should be heard because they are helpful and constructive. It was never my thought that you guys were not listening so much as you guys are not communicating with us and keeping us updated other than the generic "we are working on that". Though i personally appreciate the individual participation on this thread its the overall not knowing a) Where i stand when this issues happen or B) What action plan is in place to not only acknowledge issues like this but inform and educate us on what the expectation is while working to resolve the issues as some of these issues have been around for quite a while.

[Personal Opinion] I think you will find that if there was something in place where people received communication that most not necessarily all the people will be more understanding and a little more patient during this time as you are keeping them in the loop. It may even streamline how quick we can identify issues that are affecting a mass of players. I have my own ideas of how you could accomplish this and would more than be happy to volunteer my personal time to help you because i personally would like this game to be successful and do not expect anything in return. If you are interested in hearing me out feel free to reach out to me.

ohh didnt see this before i posted my thread.... this just happened to me, its pretty annoying considering you have the fast rollers and they move as slow as runners

So i was driving around leveling my roller skills as per the norm driving from point to point till i noticed this particular time it posted a error where the stats you get for that level should go of something along the lines of ##### NO STRING ######. i had just hit somewhere in the mind to early 20s of my driving skill if memory serves me correct. at this point the overlay kept popping up that i had level the skill again but the same error message over and over till it stopped at rank 39. At this point i went straight to the stat and realized that the game registered me at driving skill 39 but all the stats had disappeared.

I then logged out and switched characters to a different one and logged out again. I now re-logged into my original character and got the same leveling message but only this time it said i just hit roller rank 1 with the same error message of ##### NO STRING ######. All my stats and hard work are gone that i put into rollers.

Despite all the issues that have been going on with the game be it the UI, Voice Chat, Weapon Disappearing at start of game, Still missing some of the pre-order items [Yes i registered all the keys] and so on. None of those things bothered me as i honestly like the game enough that i am willing to be patient and give TRION the benefit of the doubt that they will work towards refining this into a good game. I have even offered constructive criticism and created content to provide suggestions or solutions to some of the problems.

I have now reached a point where something that i have worked since launch has been taken away from me. something i worked really hard at actually and was one of my favorite parts of the game which was the driving. This particular scenario has not created a good experience for me. I am actually to the point where i am considering stepping away from the game at least for a while. If i cannot play the game without my characters hard work being affected this is where i will draw the line.

I put in my tickets and am currently waiting for a response as i understand that trion realistically has been backed up with issues from the game.

- Problem is i do not even know where i stand and how long it will take to get a response.
- I don't know if i continue to play if that bug i encountered can damage another skill or reset it all together.
- I am not even sure if they will be able to fix my particular issue.
- If i start to level my roller skill again whats to say i will get any progress i put in again combined with what i lost if they even are able to fix it.

That is my negative experience story that i wanted to share with you all and also warn you out there so that you can avoid my issue by being aware of it.

Mine TOO!!! I instantly levled up from 22 to 40 and then after a co-op mission, BOOM! Level 1.

Same issue here, using my runner till this gets sorted, it actually told me the I lvled my runners to 40. Bug occurred at end of lv l 19 ---*No String*--- relog and skill is now at 1.

Tickets in, Im interested to see how long it takes for a reply. Good customer service is something that alot of us look for when we encounter a problem and need more than an automated response.

this just happened to me a few days go now my roller level is 5 as soon as it 20 it kept going to 39 and reset it self lol

Can we get word from a dev or you sledge to verify if your aware of this issue or not?

I've seen threads about this two or three times since launch, so I would be surprised if they weren't aware of it.

Has anyone who put in a ticket heard a response yet? If so were they able to fix the roller issue?

My ticket is still sitting in open status going on 2 days now with no response.
