Recursive Resonator has this jump that everyone in this thread is speaking of. Haven't noticed it with the MG TMP.

hmmm... Since tachmag and blast rifle are strong as they are now, they deserve to have recoil. I recommend you rolling Recoil on mastery and blue as recoil.

yeah i don't use the Recursive Resonator anymore because of the jump it has when reloading, I'm assuming the recoil jump is because the high rate of fire.

Thanks for the further replies everyone.

Now I know that the reload jump is not something unique to the new EVO SMG and therefore the quirk isn’t going to be fixed any time soon. And now have further confirmation that the JP SMG also has this quirk.

Did you encounter the same "reload jump" while hipfiring?
It seems counter-intuitive but, I can confirm that the reload jump doesn’t happen (or only slightly) when the EVO SMG is fired from the hip .

Yeah . At moment I can’t spare the time or arkforge to try and get the recoil rolls and mastery on the EVO SMG and BR. I like the canker and pistol, so I can enjoy the MG synergy with those. Perhaps if and when I get to 6k and have levelled up all my shields and main weapons...

The reload skip is inherently present in all tachmag pulses including the obliterator. If you hip fire versus aim it should vanish. I know this because I collect jp tachmags and I assure you all fully modded tachs do it they even tell you they are designed to fire on the run which cannot be done while aiming.

As to comparing a mazu to a reg br well single shot versus x3 bursts. Mazu's fire a single round, reg br's fire a fast 3rnd burst on full auto so they have very different recoil profiles. If you want a Mazu to be comparable put a 3 rnd burst converter on it it maintains its full auto profile while gaining that x3 rnd dmg that brs are so hated for

That's not how Blast Rifles nor Burst mags work.
Blast Rifles fire 3 shots per ammo consumed at the same time. That is much different from a 3 shots in succession.
A Burst Mag would simply fire a succession of 3 shots with a burst mag, it wouldn't fire 3 shots at the same time.
Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.
I know it might be hard to quit a game you loved for years but you have to understand that it won't get better. Ever. If you like the game in it's current state, then sure, keep playing it. You're enjoying yourself after all. But if you aren't, don't hope for a better future for Defiance. Because it won't come.

Odd but seems my time piercer and gauss would highly disagree. I put burst mags on both and guess what still full auto. Try it on the next Mazu you get before you call me a liar. Have fun

That's because the game makes the weapon burst fire but doesn't properly add a burst interval. As such, the weapon will fire in full-auto but in burst, something which is called Pulse Fire.

Now, what you said is that a Mazu turns into a Blast Rifle, concerning it's tri-shot mechanism that us, when affected by a Burst Mag. That is blatantly false. This seems like something easily comprehended but I will try to explain it in simple terms:
    • A Blast Rifle fires 3 shots at the same time per trigger pull;
    • A Mazu with a burst mag fire 3 shots in a quick succession per trigger pull.
Defiance is gone. Gamigo has been "not neglecting" the game for over a year, yet there's nothing new except for low effort arkfalls and bitshop items.

Why not just use overcharge. .. no recoil... pumped up and ego on reload purple roll... rinse repeat.
