Thread: Contracts.

    Contracts.

    Am I the only one that thinks there should be some sort of markers to help us find the places easier instead of going around the entire world, and back 5 times before finally finding what you need...?

    The other day I thought I had to go to San-Fran, so I took that drive only to be greeted by this HUGE robot thing that just blew up my ride in one shot, and killed me in the next....

    yes and no, on one hand it's frustrating trying to find certain areas like kill X on the Docks, go to east side docks, kill enemies and nothing.

    Or kill rioters on farms.... go to farms... kill enemies nothing.... like huh

    There seems to be a drop chance % on some of the contracts. For instance when I was killing raiders on farms for their gas masks. Every 4-6 kills I would get one gas mask.

    I think with contracts there should be a little guesswork, and if need be one can always google it I guess. I do like the fact that it's not a 1:1 drop ratio which means you may wind up killing a lot for than 20 raiders to get the items you need. If they feel the need to implement it then so be it, but I don't really think it's needed.

    Simple fact is there needs to be a better checkpoint system. The map should actually tell you the areas, i get lost looking for the mines, farms, docks etc. You should be able to actually pick the contract then it gives you a waypoint.

    Simple.

    That, or if they don't want to make them TOO easy just label the map better.

    I was literally just gonna make a thread about this,but you beat me to it. Having no destination markers makes me not want to bother with the contracts at all. I hope they implement them in the near future,after they fix everything else that is.

    If you need Farms, just look for long straight parallel lines on the world map. Docks are pretty easy to spot.

    Also, about some contracts not registering, it seems you need to advance the story a bit for you to recognize certain places. I was at Miwok Ranch early in the game trying to kill blaster for a VBI contract, it never registered. When i went back there to kill rioters for their gas masks it worked fine. This is just my guess though.
