Tier 4 lockboxes... Broken? Sledgehammer, chime in!

Hello folks,

This is not a cry or whine thread, just wanted some clarification and the only other lockbox thread I knew of, I can't find. I have purchased 12 tier 4 boxes, and have only received a handful of not-my-preference purples, zero legendary items and mostly blues. I'm failing to see the point in spending 64 keys for four items, rather than 24 keys for a tier three and 3 items, or heck even 8 keys for 2 items... If I spent 64 keys on tier two boxes that would get me 16 items for what I'd spend 64 keys for 4 items.

I feel like that as well, The most I've ever bought is a Tier 3 Lockbox. I don't really see how it gets better because it does say in the description something like "Gives you X amount of least common items".

I've opened 5 teir 4 & got two oranges / I've opened 15 teir 3 all crap... RANDOM IS RANDOM !!!

Same with me got Legendary weapon on one tier 4 then the next crap it is really random.

Ive received two legendary items (one of which disappeared today after trying to add a mod slot then my game crashed) from the top tier lockboxes. I dont feel like they should contain anything beloe a blue tbh.

I've had around 30 tier 3 and no orange and 1 purple. I bought 4 tier4 and had 4 purple and an orange.

I got all my Golds out of Tier 2 lock boxes.. try that.

I got a couple orange and such out of them but I bought two tier 4 lockboxes with bits and have yet to receive anything

I'm kinda glad you don't get them easily , makes them actually rare !
