How much do we know about Hellbugs?

There's a Design a Hellbug contest over at Vox, and I'm interested in trying it. What I want to know though, is how much do we really know about them? It's hard to design a creature without more information... As far as I can tell from pictures, most of them have a large mouth with pointy teeth, 6 legs, and a tough hide. Other than this though, what? Do they have eyes? Claws? Any decorative/defensive/offensive parts to their carapace that isn't a limb? How much deviance is there between the types of Hellbug? What colours do they come in, and do the different colours mean anything? (Different types of poision, radiation, etc?) Just a few questions before I really go beyond my rough drafts of a design...

Yeah, I saw that thread, but it doesn't really include much Morphology, and it doesn't say if they have eyes or not... (And if not, it doesn't explain how they can see/sense things) Really, not sure if anyone can answer this type of thing other than the one who made up Hellbugs... I just think that if you are going to make a contest, there should be plenty of info. (although, I'm not sure if the contest is actually sponsored by Trion or not...)

Hellbugs, we have seen alot, of images mostly red looking bug things that are a by product of the terraforming done to the planet, and addicted to the materials from ark falls.

The giant creature in the ark fall videos is a giant hell bug. So we know they range from little ones about the size of a dog, to the size of a tower block.

Claws teeth, lots of legs. Ugly S.O.B. Generally.

Hell bugs seem to need a few bullets to go down. I was watching the live stream on friday.
