Buying them at 49 bits each is 11% discount.
Oh so someone did notice the math is a tad wrong but still they are looking at it from the wrong angle, so back to my original issue. I have pp and can buy a single box for 49 bits and trion says at the store in writing mind you. Buy 100 Get 10 Free. So with that in mind buying 100 single boxes would be 4900 at the singles price not 4950.

Now does that mean my PP discount only apply's when trion allows it to ?

but then you wouldnt get the 10 free if you took the 11% discount all the way to 100 boxes

    pay 4950 get 110 boxes ( bulk buy getting a 10% discount)
pay 4900 for 100 single boxes ( by buying them separate you lose the 10 extra- but still get 11% pp discount)

Ok what am I missing here, if I can buy one box for 49 bits with my 10% pp discount and 100 boxes with my 10% pp discount is at the singles price is 4900 bits. Then 100 boxes costs 4900 bits and trion says buy 100 get 10 free. So why isn't the bulk price 4900 bits with my 10% pp discount.

Do you see what I am getting at here, forget the 10 extra for a moment, 100 boxes either way should be 4900 bits with the 10% pp discount.

Trion is charging the extra 50 bits for the convenience of delivering it in bulk...which is what Mitch insinuated earlier.

Buy 100 individually, pay 4900 bits

Buy 100 in bulk, pay 4950 bits. The additional 50 bits is for the convenience of not having to make 100 seperate purchases, choose this method of transaction and get 10 free with your bulk purchase.

If you were to buy 110 individually it would cost you 5390 bits so buying 100 in bulk and recieving 10 free you save 440 bits if you were to buy 110 individually.

Using the 49 bit single box price as a basis is not valid in this case.

The normal price for a single box is 55 bits. With the Patron Pass 10% discount, this would be 49.5 bits. Trion are generously rounding this DOWN to 49 bits, effectively giving an 11% discount.

100 times 55 is 5500 (the normal price for the 100 bundle). Then if this has a 10% discount, this price is reduced to 4950 (5500 – 550). And thus the price of 4950 bits in the store is correct.

There is no extra charge imposed anywhere – it is simple that Trion is discounting the single box at 11% rather than 10%, which is not really a downside for us customers .

    Hope this helps!

That should clear up everything perfectly for the op. Now I feel stupid. I'm more right brained than left so math and logic aren't my strong points...lol

So trion was gracious by rounding the number down for me, dang I feel special now. WELL AH No they couldn't round it up because even then all of you here would be moaning

Thx everyone the problem has been fixed and all is good. I just deleted my payment info from both my accounts heard some players talking in game about how trion lowered the drop rates this event. Was pretty interesting and made complete sense too.

BTW 2 accounts both with patron pass, 10 characters played each and every day 5 ark falls minimum each no afking play one at a time and not one arm. celebration drop.

Too much maths for this arkhunter... sounds like I'd be better off saving my money.
