Outbreak Event to PTS

A new update is now live on PTS and contains the following:

PTS Character copy is now open, from 4/24 - 4/28.

NEW EVENT

Outbreak is here! Biological empowered enemies have invaded paradise. Plaguers, scrappers, and hulkers have been infected, and need to be put down. Complete Arkfalls for new rewards and contracts!

Finish the daily and weekly contracts to get your weekly reward. The reward will contain a guaranteed Legendary CDC weapon and an epic mod with the chance to be legendary (chance at a jackpot weapon).

A new pursuit has been added called "Pandemic Prevention". Complete this pursuit during the Outbreak event to receive a special reward: epic jackpot weapon "Calamity" (Daisy Cutter) and the title "Immune". In addition, you will also get the epic mod: Rapid Acquisition System IV

NEW SYNERGY

Cleansing Napalm
[1] On enemy armor break, 2% ammo regen (Cooldown: 3s)
[2] On enemy armor break, gain 3 ablative armor for 10 seconds. (15s cooldown)
[3] +15% Damage
[4] Applies a napalm effect which burns and slows the target for 3s increasing health and plate damage taken (Cooldown: 6s)

New Manufacturer: CDC grants an additional 10% Nano Proc Chance and 10% Armor Durability Damage! Every CDC weapon will have this innate bonus.

Jackpot weapon types: Assault Carbine, Northstar Striker (NEW flare pistol), Big Boomer, Mass Cannon, Nomad, Purgatory, Afflictor

Northstar Striker: A modified Northstar Blaze which has had its rounds replaced with frag grenades

While watching Stoods video all I could think is New Frontier Harvest V2.
I thought it looked very underwhelming up until the hulkers came in at the major.
This is what all event majors lack imo, Bosses.
I know there isn't enough of them in game to have them work for every event but seeing that it's a new season of Defiance and new pursuits are behind schedule NEW enemies and a NEW boss would be soooooo welcome.
Anything new would give the game just a bit of freshness to those of us with a stale taste in our mouths.
It can't always just be about new synergy weapons!

The boss idea like matron is cool how about 1 hulker twice the size and tons of health or maybe you could bring the motherlode boss.

NEW EVENT

The Biological outbreak has come, and Biological enemies are everywhere. Hop on PTS to play brand new Minor and Major arkfalls featuring Mutants, Plaguers, and Shrill!

These events will still drop old loot, as new loot for this event has not been introduced yet.

Score and health scaling has been adjusted heavily for this event to make sure high scores are easily obtainable. Please login on PTS and give this event a try for feedback! We cannot make this event perfect without your feedback.

Cronus will be performing some scheduled testing, along with some sweet rewards for players who participate and provide feedback. Look for separate threads from them regarding timing. Thanks to them for helping out!

Would bringing the Battle Master from expos to the event Arkfalls be possible? Those guys are mutants with a lot of Plates so it helps the whole Bio theme.

I would like to see an event with warmaster as the boss.

Lots of people are suggesting bosses like the warmaster and the motherlode to be put in to major arkfalls, but what happens when they start wandering around? Similar to hulkers in HH majors.
