Anything new to look forward to?

I don't watch live streams, so is anything new coming besides events and flavor of months?

I have not seen anything to suggest anything new. MM is next month, followed by the usual flavor of the month events. My Xbox characters have already retired to Antarctica. I still log on for an hour or two with my Playstation toons, but most of my friends have stopped playing.

Outdoor weather is coming and after 4 years of defiance im sure there are things ive neglected or avoided. Lol. Usually around this time of year defiance tries to retain its players by enticing us with something. Ive been logging in just long enough to do the event dailys and collect daily rewards but last night on xbox there was only one phase during peak time so I just logged off. Itd be nice if the devs would give us a state of the game update, but im sure they are busy printing their resumes if they havent abandoned ship already. Lol. Havent heard a peep in a while. Antarctica here we come!!!

Trion has stated several times in recent months that they have "big plans" for the game but they haven't released any details on what those "big plans" are. Most people believe that it as just another empty promise intended to string them along to maximize revenue and it is evident with the increasing number of negative posts and the dwindling number of people playing that they aren't buying it.

I wouldn't say its up to Zamboni or any community rep to decide. If a dev can't even comment, then only higher up's can be blamed for keeping us in suspense.

That or there is truly not a clue what to do next and if that was the case, then you'd think the Suggestions! forum would be a place to consider.

Honestly, the bottom line is that we don't want to jump the gun. We'd love to talk about our future plans in concrete terms, but in order to do that our future plans actually need to be concrete. That's what we're working on now!
