(Backdrop iron demon ranch) Nolan meets up with a colilation of farmers trying to form a kind of co-op. In the hills a small group of bandits line up our hero in their sights. Call it fate, or call it bad luck, but a young recruit distinguished only by the vlood red shirt the wears as his clan colors, sees the shine off the scope and takes the bullet for Nolan. Nolan then tells Irisa "Better tell the old man. The red shirts aren't gonna tolerate this!"
