    New Patch? Game Too Easy?

    I don't know how the community in general feels about the health scaling being reduced, but I certainly don't like it. I understand that the monarchs in major ark falls and some of the warriors might take a little to much damage, but these dynamic events feel much less challenging then before.

    What do you guys think?

    On the other hand, a group of people coming in and rushing an objective, scaling everything around up them while I'm my my way through won't bone me as hard.

    I think you have to try REALLY hard to fail any size arkfall with a fair amount of people, never had issues with the large scale stuff. Some of the smaller scale stuff is annoying though, like those tankers, I believe they are called, the ones that lob 3 grenades at you in quick succession. If you don't dodge the first one you are pretty screwed. One knocks you on your @$$ and before you can get up, the second one is there to say "Hello!". All in all the game isn't difficult, but has a few balance issues.

    I also think the game is way to easy and is starting to become pretty mindless.

    5th day after release.

    They'll be tweaking things for a while now.

    If you find it too easy, start a thread in the suggestions section or technical issues etc etc. section.

    Will get more dev visibility there.

    My thoughts on the matter:

    If all the random people around you were focusing threats properly like they should, things would die quickly anyways.
    If they weren't, which happened fairly often in cases where multiple people ended up in the same quest area, then mobs that should be easy kills become more of a hassle for the one player that gets left behind to clean up the mess.

    So there should be a negligible difference in difficulty when people are working together properly, and there is less "**** of my area if you are just going to make the mobs scale tougher without meaningfully contributing to killing them"... Win-win.

    I like it for now. Once the DLC rolls out, it should be tweaked up a bit.

    I'm just saying the major arkfalls should be somewhat difficult, not pew-pew loot zerg. I didn't mind the health the mobs had before the recent patch, but majors go down 5-10 minutes in. I guess I just enjoy some difficulty out of these events, but I'll most likely just go to pvp.

    Another way of looking at this with respect to arkfalls in particular... If they reduce the health scaling of mobs across the board, they can tweak the damage of the adds to be more than just a slight annoyance and make it so that arkfalls require people to work on killing/controlling the adds as well instead of mostly ignoring them.

    The problem with doing anything but ignoring the majority of the adds at arkfalls previously is the fact that they respawn fairly quickly at any arkfall that isn't a simple "Kill x waves of enemies". Combined with ridiculous health scaling... It quickly becomes a "Why bother?" situation.
