I just wanna throw my thanks in here too. I know the devs are under a lot of pressure with patching and so on; and that some people are giving them flak for it. But......bloody hell, you've made one hell of a game, ladies and gents. I mean, a CONSOLE MMO? And one that is good enough not to die like the others did. Yes, it is early days but.....you got it right. The blend of gunplay and large scale co-op. Defiance is one massive step in a fantastic direction for console gaming. I've wanted a game like this for years, but developers just wouldn't dare to try it after games like MAG didn't work.
Anyway, I'm rambling. If a dev sees this, just, thank you. The Trion team is clearly a collection of brilliant minds. And I, as well as all of Defiance's fans, love every single one of you. And thank you for all of the effort you're putting in to improve the experience. You've made a lot of gamers very, very, very happy. I don't regret giving Defiance a shot for a single second, which is more than can be said for the past few titles that have been released recently. Keep up the amazing work Trion people; and stay awesome.

Thanks for such an amazing game. Its so refreshing playing this. Not another smack it in the face with a sword/hammer/dagger or fire arrow or magic till it dies.
Thanks for the balanced pvp system (besides shotguns) I love how new players can join and be right in there with the people who have been playing since day 1.
Do not listen to these elitist that want you to change the game and make it more wow like and have superweapon x and extra cool armor y. Just so they can stroke their sorry but for lack of a better word egos.
This game is a refreshing exp in an often over populated genre of games. Its always what's your gear rating, what prestige you on and what's your k/d ratio. People want their ego's stroked now days. Made to be something special just because some algorithm decided super rare item drop for them and they got lucky getting it.

Yeah I think the devs need to know that the vast majority of us are having a blast and know how hard they are working on the game, and that we appreciate their efforts. I get that there are legitimate issues but I feel the complaints are being heard and worked on.
The worst part of this is we are also dealing with what I like to call the 12 angry trolls, that are just bashing the game to stir forum drama, Iv'e seen many of these same guys over at the SWTOR, GW2 and TSW forums making the exact same doom post. That should be dealt with by the CM because there is a huge difference between a legitimate complaint constructive criticism and nonconstructive trolling. The latter should be actionable, because honestly it does negatively impact the community and that is why they do it.
Agreed. Strong appreciation from me and my friends. I am putting in my effort as well, as a Manager at a game store, pushing for Defiance sales.
HUGE love. I have been a TRION fan based on the amount of communication as it pertained to Rift(of which I am still a fan). You guys are doin great and I really like the game for what it is and what kind of potential it has. Keep up the good work.
I really love the simplicity of the game. I don't need to bust out spreadsheets for min-max theory-crafting. I just equip a weapon and start shooting things to find out if I want the weapon. Thank you for this.
Yep, this is the first MMO I've been able to play for longer than 2 hours since I recovered from WoW burnout years ago.

+1 to the OP. I've been playing MMOs since the UO, EQ, AC and AO days, and have played or betaed nearly every one. Same for most shooter titles on PC and XBOX and PS3. Defiance is a gem. I love it and my spouse loves it and so do some of my various guildmates. Kudos and thanks for the great game! Don't let the haters get ya down.
Same goes for me. I would like to thank all the guys and gals that made this refreshing and fun game.
Of course there are some bugs and room for improvement. But that's natural for a game that just launched.
But i can see great potential for this game in the future, and hope others can see that also.
And i think that this game is realy gona go off when the Tv show is running along side it.
So have a little faith in Trion. Because they made and will make this a great game for allot of fun. just look at Rift, they can make a good game if you let them.
And let's hope it will be running for a long time.
I for one will be enjoying myself a long time with this game
