Don't Feed The Pows.....
You don't have a shred of knowledge about the dlc, yet you already labeling it "awesome"? Jesus.......
They need to add more content...outfits, vehicles, etc.
I have fun, I'm curious about the show tie in, it's a cool shooter with no need to rush. I can see me staying here for a while and play relax![]()
There's no sub to the game.. why would you leave and not come back, anyway?
If someone can't take some bugs.. well, likely they'll never find an MMO at release they'll want to play. Of course, they can always just come back in a month and try it again.
The beauty of B2P games.
Here for the season for sure. Having a blast. Not obsessed with getting the biggest gun or the highest level next to my name. Just here for the story and the world, and liking that a lot so far. Having only played a little CoH and WoW, it was cool to have main story arcs with cut scenes as well as the Episode Missions. Playing with Nolan and Irisa was a lot of fun, and I hope the show is good! If it is, I can imagine them feeding into each other very well and propping up my interest in both. I usually max out at 4-6 hours of video game playing time a week. I've done more than double that since Thursday. Even if it becomes more casual, I'll keep coming back for the DLC (got the UE edition) and seeing what happens as the season progresses.
In it as long as they keep providing new content. They stop then I stop, simple.
I'm taking a "wait and see" approach to this game. I've seen a lot of mmo's come and go and the only thing that I see separating this game from them is that this is on consoles and console gamers, myself included, have been desperately waiting for a good mmo. I've checked out the in game store and while I've been tempted to buy extra inventory slots I've decided that I want to see where Defiance stands by July or August. I really wish Microsoft would waive their weird patch limit rules with this game though, two weeks waiting for patches might be what kills this game. But in the mean time I'll be playing this game on a regular basis for as long as the servers are up.
