The deal breaker for me depends on storage beyond what your character starts with.

If I'm forced to pay ONE DIME for a reasonable amount of inventory slots (or the stash that better be coming soon), then I'm out on principle.

It's a loot-based game. I shouldn't have to pay extra to keep some. Don't tell me the wheels cost extra AFTER you sell me the car.

I'm just giving them a little time to figure that out.

Im in it for the long run Defiance is giving me that feeling i haven't felt since my early WoW days its hooking me in to come back for more and not many games do that for me, the haters will hate and they will move on to the next shiney thing that shows up but i imagine i sizeable amount of people will stay and see the game grow.

I'm not entirely sure, I'm at around 800 ego and I got plenty of space.

Can you actually verify that you got more slots as a result of leveling up, or are you making assumptions?

I don't have any screenshots, but sometimes when you get a certain amount of EGO, it'll show up in the middle of your screen telling you what you've unlocked - and inventory slots are sometimes included.

base : 12
50 : 16
100 : 20
250 : 28
500 : 36

That without the pre-order bonuses nor the Arkfall codes. With both of them I'm actually at 52, which is more than enough to keep 5 different type of grenades and 3 weapons of each type plus loot.
