    Sniper Idea/Suggestion

    Silencers for snipers. Oh and maybe a slightly higher crit multiplier on them as we'll. as it stands anything close enough for me to see I'd be better off just running up to it and usin my pistol then try an take the time to headshot one, only for it to still be alive and then have the entire compound after my ***.

    P.S. I do <3 pistols a lot

    if anything they need to fix the hitboxes on alot of mobs from distance, you aim right at their head and it somehow goes right through them half the shots i take with a Sniper Rifle seem to goes straight through them without doing any damage even those the shot was Direct on target.

    ive played as a Sniper in almost every FPS and TPS game ive ever been on and i have never come across an issue with shooting them in the head from distance then this game, i do love this game but it needs a few good tweaks for it to be Awesomer ( probably not a word but meh ).

    ok, its not my rifle then.
    i thought my meteor rifle has a high spread and thats why i cant hit sometimes

    i beleive its something to do with the Hitboxes its like the hit box is alot smaller then the mob itself like its a tiny man inside of a man so when you aim at their head you have to aim even lower to compensate for it most crits i get are from like the upper chest to the throat head shots only kick in at close to medium range, ive live streamed pretty much my whole main missions and ive gone over it seeing myself aim at their heads and completely wiff even though my aim was bang on and its not like theirs bullet drop affecting shots like on Battlefield so yea even one of my friends beleives it to be the hitbox.

    Well, the simplest solution I found for long-range sniping is to go for the throat. Even then it's more like medium range, as shots pass through really long ranged targets; it's an engine limitation, to me they seem to be treated as sprites at that range, mainly because the model you see without scoping IS a sprite.

    Anyway, to the suggestion at hand, silencers seem pointless, but I wouldn't say no to a flat x5 crit multiplier across the board (and higher for more epic rifles). If I go through the trouble of aiming for that sweet spot, I want some big yellow reward dammit.

    There was a very similar problem in Skyrim where arrows weren't being detected by hitboxes at about 80 feet. The arrow would go 'through' the target and alert them to your presence. A simple .ini tweak fixed that but obviously they'll need to properly patch the servers for this

    I'd be happy if they would get rid of the horrible sensitivity when you scope in. At least put a slider in or something.
