    I did this coop yesterday and the group leader promptly stated in chat we were going to take the short cut (good for them for making their intentions clear) so off we go to the electric fence.

    We get up to the electric fence and everyone just stands there. The group leader doesn't do anything and we stand around for several minutes until someone else decoys through the fence. We then proceed to stand around for 10 minutes while the first person (and then a second person) tries to get to the end.

    Avoiding game play and doing nothing for 10 minutes in order to save 5 minutes seems more like a strategy for a job you hate and not so much for a game we choose to play, but to each their own.

    I'm not going to stop running this map, and I'll go with whatever type of run the group chooses to do, but I hope the Dev's can patch this so that the entire issue is put to bed and we can get back to running the map and killing things.

    Even without using the big shortcuts as long as you have blur and/or a t6 weapon with a speed boost on reload mastery along with a good det, IoLS can still be charged through in as little as 6 mins to the boss.

    Much like Asplosions 101 plenty of enemies aren't required kills and can be simply ignored.

    To "fix" coops would pretty much equate to butchering them
    - no kicking
    - no ability to skip the same cutscenes over and over
    - having to kill literally every enemy
    - still get paid a good 12 to 13 af for beating them in 20 minutes of effort (15 to 16 at motherload if you hit everything with bio on the way down)

    6 minutes, yes and many players do.

    Your list of fixes arent things that are broken. They work just fine the way they are and heres why.

    Kicking is a necessary evil, heres 3 good reasons-
    • Queue and poopers who are afk and not coming back till they get their paperwork done.
    • DC'd ghosties who are offline but the 'battleserver' hasnt release them.

    Not broken, anoying after the hundreth time but not broken. why isnt there an autoskip at expert level? Maybe no one asked for it?

    Having the ability to begin a co-op map solo would be REALLY good. (I have lot of trouble to find players to do my contracts always)

    I personally play co-op maps like Passion of Melak Vors or Until The Arks Rise just for fun with friends and we don't get any forges from them.

    Playing the rest of co-op maps solo without the requirement of 4 players forcefully just to start it, just like Expeditions do, would be cooler and if it could have the option to set it to be private would be even better.

    Private could mean for just clannies and friends to join in but never random people by the Quick Match option.

    I think it's pretty great to read people admitting to exploiting maps and defending doing so. Just because it takes longer or the rng isn't what you want when using AF doesn't justify exploiting. Also, if they made a coop solo then it wouldn't be a coop now would it?

    What I find more interesting is that this was reported way back when they "fixed" this map the first time. That was well over 1 year ago. It boggles my mind when I read current reporting of issues that have been in game for so long and to see developers surprised response as if it was some new exploit.

    To the comment about speed runners and aim-bots. Again, something that has been reported over 1 yr ago and still persist. Some of us have played other mmo's where players used these methods and have learned to identify them pretty quickly. Reporting these players is useless because even if you have video it's not proof enough. I remember reading on these forums like almost 2 years ago about how the video had to be authenticated because players were supposedly doctoring video footage to get others banned. And if it's a bug/exploit they have to be able to replicate it. Which explains why the trade bug still exist. They can't replicate it spite being told in detail how it's being done.

    Now, on topic, it's been pretty common for a long time in defiance to see players kicked from co-ops by exploiters. Ever since they introduced it actually. I'm sure it's been reported a few thousand times. My theory on why nothing has been done is because the player base is so low if they lose anymore players the game will have to shut down. Let's be honest here, Defiance is barely holding on. The game started off in bad water and progressively got worse. Bugs from launch still exist. Stability still horrible. Players left in droves when the removal of double weapon rolls happened then when the expedition rolled out and now with this change to cores.

    Ive repeatedly tried to come back but every time I patch in and play I am quickly reminded why I stopped.

    I mean this problem with kicking and replacing others before the boss in co-op. Has that happened?
