Always on Mild Aim assist on PC???

Something I have been noticing and has been driven me a little nuts because i feel as if the mouse is being ripped out of my hands. When I right click to fine aim on an Enemy my game will some times go nuts and feels like it locks on to an enemy and follows them for a 1 second or a max 2 while some maybe like that doesn't bother them for me drives me nuts because it messes up shots with sniper rifle or any other optic weapon. Is there any way to turn this off I didn't see an option in the settings menu I fee as if its something that got ported over from console doesnt always happen but when its does it is noticable

Aim assist is under the controls option, I think second from the bottom above keymapping.

You can turn off the aim assist in settings. It should be off by default for PC but at least they added a way to turn it off. after much complaining in Alpha and Betas.

For me, aim assist was actually on by default. I had to go into settings and turn it off. I've never actually seen aim assist in a pc game before. I guess it's a hold over from porting the game from console?

Yep it is enabled by default for some odd reason. This was obviously designed with gamepads in mind but i am quite sure that the majority of pc players use the mouse-keyboard combination wich is why this should be turned off. There is absolutely no need to assist aim when using a mouse.

They should autoenable it if you enable a gamepad maybe?

Yea aim assist is on by default but even at times it has felt like at times the game forces my aim in a different direction that I am actually aiming at during different events. Drives me crazy sometimes.
