Total PS3 Crash?

Anyone have this issue as well? The disconnects and stuff like that do not bother me. But at least 4 or 5 times a day. My entire tv screen will freeze in play the sound will be gone. The only to get back online and in game is to hold the power button down for 30 secs and reboot the PS3 and wait for it to check for corrupted files due to not being properly shutdown. Like i said disconnects and little things like that don't bother me. But how many hard resets can a system take before it starts coming back up? Thanks for any input as well as others who may be seeing this issue.

btw u dont have to let it check for corrupted files its a choice

Yeah, happened to me twice so far. Once yesterday and once the day before. I just reboot the PS3 and cancel the file check cause that can take like 2 hours to complete.

Only takes like 3-5 minutes with mine so i just let it do its thing to check and make sure everything is alright.
