Lock Boxes Tier 2/3/4

Tier 2 - 8 keys - 2 weapons

Tier 3 - 24 keys - 3 weapons

Tier 4 - 64 keys - 4 weapons

Wouldn't this mean that you would just want to buy tier 2 every time? Why would I buy tier 3 or 4?

Because higher tiers is suppose to have better chance for higher quality I'd imagine. That aside the lock box bits shop doesn't work besides taking your cash, that's all it did for me.

I work under this presumption too. I have seen posts showing data that says the others have a better chance but I get more chances with the 2's so I go that route.

Bought a lot of boxes, one orange. Not enough to see a trend one way or the other though so I will buy them until I feel a need to change.

So there is no real data to support that any of the tiers get you better weapons than the others as we would need a collection of 100k+ turn ins to get something definitive. Okay going to stick with the Tier 2 since that will get me more weapons per keys.

Same here!!! Bought 2x Tier 3 lockboxes yesterday, and received nothing. Sent in a bug ticket, but still....WTF??

i got one orange from one Tier 4 box (if i remember right) which I bought from the cash shop (I know, I know, but I really wanted the mountain ranger outfit thing and didn't want to waste the extra bits on boosts)

From 5-6 Tier 3 boxes I've only ever had 2 purples (infectors ), the rest was all blue and green.

Am wondering if there is a difference in drop probabilities between boxes paid for with resources, and those paid for with bits..

I've been buying tier 4's myself. So far 4/7 have yielded oranges 2 combat shotguns and 2 infectors

Nope, I had 30+ free inv. slots, and checked the 'Claim' area several times. No luck
