Tranquility sprint adding time

WHen u start trial game waits few seconds before the countdown .. those seconds add to overall time ... right now i cant complete few trial even if i have times better than gold req by 5 seconds .. im fkn angry

I just noticed this the first time today as I'm trying to run Tiburon Uplands. I noticed it is consistantly adding eight seconds to my time. After reading some posts, I counted the pre-race countdown, and sure-enough, I'm waiting around on my quad for 8 seconds until the actual countdown started.

It adds 5 seconds to me as well, cant get gold on a lot of these time trials...

EDIT: I spoke with GM Kraken today and he/she said that the problem was well known and under investigation, but if the matter would be spoken of on the forums or not he/she could not say.

Consistently adding 2-3 seconds to my final time...WTF even when i get 37 seconds on the dot it tells me 40

Trion, please fix this! :/

EDIT: It's not just the Tranquility Sprint, it's all Time Attack races :/

This is about the point where it helps for someone on the Dev team to post a comment about investigating the problem/found the problem/fixed the problem in the next patch.

Otherwise, players conclude the developers are oblivious about the bug and feel infinitely more frustrated.

Not sure it will help everyone, but I saw someone doing a time trial, and he would jump off the ATV recall the ATV, and take off. I'm not sure if it helps your time or not, but might be worth a try??

I've had this happen as well while trying for Golds. It would be consistently adding extra time to a run I was working on. However, it seems that the first run or two didn't typically have the error so, I'd just get all my practice in, and then the next day log in and knock it out first try and be ok. It's not 100% but it's worked for a few of the races.

Just want to add that last night I was able to score gold medal in these races pretty easily because the time on the counter exactly matched the time on the summary screen (which had not been the case in the days prior to this). And one of those races was in the middle of a major arkfall, with lots of things happening around me. So, I'm not sure what's causing the problem, and why it comes and goes.. it's difficult to blame it on server performance when you can have perfect time-keeping in the middle of an arkfall, and then utter failure when nothing obviously significant is happening around you.
