    Livestream summary

    Defiance has a new designer, Mike "Kelirar" Hansen, who will be turning 40 on 8/29.

    Sustained Suppression, Plate Slicer and Spinal Tap will be replaced by Saturnalia, Nano Volatility Force and Parasitic Impetus (new synergy) on 9/5.

    Parasitic Impetus

    [1] Damaging an enemy increases movement speed by 30% for 5s (cooldown 10s)

    [2] -15% reload

    [3] 15% damage

    [4] On dodge roll, gain parasitic contagion for 10 seconds (cooldown 5s)
    Parasitic contagion grants 15% life/shield steal and causes munitions to infect enemies. Infected enemies take an additional 7% damage and spawn shrill feeders when killed. Feeder attacks spread the infection.

    Hoverbike no longer makes tire sounds and doesn't leave marks on the ground when drifting.

    12 of the original 51 Ex Inanis weapon types have been removed from the loot pool.

    They also talked about "new content" in the works concerning SlyPy. No word about when.

    Apocs are being looked into.

    No news on INVENTORY UPDATE.

    A few other fixes that they hoped would go live on the 5th.

    I'm re-watching it now. Thanks to Rarnok and Kerilar for making it . I know Rarnok had a hard time doing nearly all the talking (since Destro is in Germany), but it is appreciated .

    Other points:
    + PG rewards for medals in PvP - can get up to 45 PG.
    + 2-3 months per synergy rotation for Ex Inanis. Approx 2-3 weeks advance notice.
    + redundant/useless Cyber Chips are being looked at.
    + issues with Armament/Backpack synergies are being looked at.
    + co-op queuing facilitation is something they are looking at.
    + Kerilar is there to help with new content (related to the new Gulanee etc).
    + Py'Numbra spawn rate may be increase; but it is suggested you keep driving along to do emergencies (rather than staying in one place) for optimum results.

    Thanks for addressing some of the questions from the previous Q&A list!

    Thanks for the summary. I guess they really are tired of people playing the game and spending in the bit store. What a terrible synergy selection. Time to find out how much PG I can save up and hope the next 3 are worth trying to get anything.

    They also said they had a fix for the misson bug at crystal springs. Im pretty sure he said it will always pop up, maybe someone on the pts can verify.

    They mentioned briefly that lag and stability fixes are a priority.

    The weird one bit emergency has the wrong info and is being looked at.

    And the new guy said they would be at a convention or something and maybe giving stuff away at a table.

    Well, they followed the formula that I expected that they would (1 old, 1 new, 1 bit-store) but I am a little disappointed in the selection as well. Although it should help the people that still want Pipers and hopefully end the insanity of 25+ mil French Hens. I also think that 2-3 months for the synergy rotations is entirely too long. This first rotation had 2 good synergies and my interest is fading after 6 weeks so my personal preference would have been 5-6 weeks. I can't see the upcoming rotation holding the current player base's mayfly-esque attention span for very long.

    Ah yeah, forgot that one : problems with the foreman etc for the Season 2 missions should be fixed. If there is a siege on, then they will appear once that is over. Don't know if this particular fix has been applied to PTS yet (not sure if it was included with the other changes...is there an updated PTS changelog somewhere?).

    Hey good stuff here.

    Quick question, do we know if targets once infected have bullets bypass plates similarly to what happens to irradiated enemies from radiation?
