Whats the effective cap anyway? I guess EGO rating is a bad way to calculate this, but if I was equipping perks that are all adjacent, how many upgrades would it take to arrive at a build that is fully capped?

That has to be significantly under 4k EGO.

I guess my point is that while 4k-5k is attainable, unless your goal is total perk switching options, is there a serious concern? You're effectively having to level alts.

You know, that little dangling thing some have that needs to write on the forums something along those lines : "world first evah 5k EGO !!!11elevenoneone111!! I b34t d4 g4m3 !!11" making them soooo special for the whole universe

I would say 1000. Vendors get 4slot weapons and another perkslot is probably at 2000 EGO.

2500 is a pretty solid goal atm. 1000 isn't really a big deal.

Im just curious when you have 5 loadouts and all open perk slots. Im nearing 1k and missing 4? perk slots and 1 loadout. Thats about all my goal extends to EGO rating wise, then I would like to get most if not all weapon profs to 10 or so.

4k if you want all perkslots.

2600 actual level if you want all perks.

As for vendors getting items with mod slots at around 1000, sure that goes for green, and a majority of blue/purple and orange items after 1000 have 0 modslots.

TV show takes place in ST Louis so...my guess is san Francisco is a glorified noob area for us to run around in before the TV show kicks off.

Ive heard mention of other areas where the game could potentially take place though cut scenes and NPC talk.

If you've completely cleared the game, kick back relax and wait until next week. Hopefully soon we get word on the DLC schedule and how large the content that comes with it is.

Ive actually become quite interested in the story as of late and seem to be nearing the end of the current content, ive left a LOT of stuff undone which ill have no problem doing in the week between content updates.

I just feel it's poor game design... experience all the game has to offer in a week or two, then bang your head against a wall until a DLC comes out. The game is a lot of fun until you run out of things to do. Rather disappointing that I prolly won't play it again until something new is released...
