Very odd, haven't had a single crash on my PC (i7 930, 6gig, 5850, so hardly top of the line anymore). Game run smooth, adsl connection out in the boondocks in Scandinavia. No latency to speak of, a few disconnects around patchtime, that's it.
A few bugs in the game that might constitute as "large", but I found that re-logging or moving a distance away on the game map and returning resets any issue I've come across.
From my perspective, it really strikes me as a problem on your end mate. Which is a pity, good game so far.

There's a major patch coming out on April 15th addressing many of the major concerns players are having right now. I'm sorry you're having no enjoyment of the game, and do wonder what problems you were having. Still, many things are being looked into and addessed in that patch I mentioned. And still more after that, because fixing problems is priority right now. It's true they're having some problems, but all MMOs have hitches and bugs even after Beta into release.
The best thing you can do is list the specific issues you are having, if you have any interest in this game now or in the future. It'll help with the fixing process.
Anyway, good luck and should you be leaving Defiance behind, I wish you well in your future gaming endeavors elsewhere. If you stick to it, however, I'm pretty darn sure you'll have fun when the issues you're having are addressed and repaired.

Seriously, why make threads about refunds when its as easy as going to the support page. The game JUST came out and yes, there will be many bugs. No game in history has ever came out with any bugs. No one cares how much money you have, but what matters is that you, Sir, are complaining about a refund in a forum section that is aimed at fixing issues. Your issue is more of a "Waaaa, I have no patience for new games Wa wa wa" and (with no disrespect) you may need to go outside and enjoy life if you get this worked up about a new release.
Many of us are seriously enjoying the game to where I actually bought 3 more copies for my 3 best gaming buds on Steam. We are enjoying the new way to game an MMO and we are liking the fun. Yes, we are a bit annoyed, but we have been there and know how annoying new releases are. Diablo 3, Rift, Guild Wars 2, WoW, Path of Exile (Beta,) and many other MMOs out there we have played since the beginning. (Although we did get a refund for D3, but that is something diffrent... we were D2 players lol)

Everyone lay off him we don't need to turn this forum into a troll post, clock if i was you i would wait a week or two and see what trion puts out, also trion would rather try to fix your problems instead of giving you the money back. as far as the 20$ you spent in-game they will never refund that it will just be tied to your account til the end of time, or at least the end of trion. Also instead of complaining about the bugs post them and see if others have the same issue or if they had it and have found a fix.
i have that too, and 16gb ram, no stability issues.
