I am re-posting this here along with the message I sent to Trion for public record. The Live chat will not work for me, and the last message I sent for support took days for an answer..


I am sorry but I have never been so insulted at a game release in my life. I waited some time to play this, and after missing the beta by days I decided to give the game a go anyway. I spent 120$ on digital deluxe and some cash for the in game shop. . I have been unable to enjoy one single hour of gaming . It is for this sad reason I must demand a refund. I can not support the release of a product like this.

If the refund process is smooth, and the game see improvements I will likely return later..but as is I would not play this if it were free to play.

It was your choice to buy cash shop funds before seeing how much you like the game. You have no claim to a refund.

I've played without any issues other than a slight lag and the servers being down for patches.

just report this idiot hes breaking the EULA and Terms of Use Agreement for flaming and trolling someone on the forums who is legitimately seeking assistance, and regardless if its in the wrong area mods are here for moving posts when they need it and has yet to be moved or closed by a mod or admin which you kid are not, leave people alone dont show what a cowardly little "Troll" you are here by flaming someone seeking compensation that is fair.

At the top of my list would be that I am not going to pay to beta test. Backing that up would be the insane amount of bugs (no pun intended), many of which make leveling at a decent pace difficult . Of course I have to take the latter on faith, as I have been unable to stay in game long enough without crashing or freezing to find out. After spending way to long trying to get a live chat to work, I decided this was not the game for me at the moment.

I'm not trying to be rude when I say this. I don't think you should buy video games any more. Almost all video games will be doing this from now on.

You being insulted , does not entitle (that word again) you to a refund. It sounds like you are having computer and internet issues on you're end. Trion can not be held responsible for you're issues. They have support to assist you with solving those issues, but they are still you're issues.

Good luck on getting a refund on the store items. No one made you deposit money into the store account, and if you read the terms of service and eula...most people don't.....you would see that a refund for those items is non negotiable. You clicked "I AGREE" when you installed the game, so sorry you are S.O.L.

Whether or not you are going to "support" a"problem" like "this" or not has little to no weight behind it. Many more people support "This" then do not. For every person making comments good or bad here on the forums, there are many more that are not. This brand...Defiance....has a lot of money and effort invested into it. You and the 167 other disgruntled players voicing their opinions on the forums, are a small percentage of the overall. A percentage that has already been allowed for by the percentage maker upper gurus that every tv network and game company hire. So you not supporting "This" has already been accounted for.....

So good luck, I've heard rumors of WoW offering some cool perks for new/returning players....maybe you could support "That"

LOL, WoW...why has that game been allowed to survive this long? That thing still has the same damn graphics and gameplay as it did when I played 7yrs ago, not to mention they ruined it with all the expansions.

Just played another month of it about 3 months ago, looks like the same POS to me. Either way the characters still look like they're molded from play-doh and the gameplay is ruined by expansions.
