[List]: How to make this game 10x better.

anyone seen the new patch besides the first thing on the notes "improved server stability" and the servers are still down after 5 hrs.lol.
The gun scaling notice how they either reduced the dmg or slowed the rate of fire on weapons so they have made all the weapons more CHIT.Watched the series pilot while i was updating and the game seems to have almost nothing to do with the series ofther than the name.....nolan wasnt really in many missions arkfall was more of a search a ship for loot rather than Everyone kill something and get nothing.
The town Defiance was huge no big town in the game where you can hang out and chill or shop find contracts.
SO all in all the series seems alright the game nothing like it and tbh its a shooter game not an mmo

I agree with a lot of the points the OP raised but it's still early days for this game. Trion could be planning some of these things for a future update/DLC (of course that doesn't mean we can't talk about it and suggest these things).

My main problem is the 'world chat' thing, it would be okay if you could disable it or put it on ignore because I don't particularly want to hear what a bunch of uppity teenagers have to say about how they nailed everyone's mother. Not saying that all teenagers are ****s but xbox live has a fair share of them. Plus with so many people in the same shard or phase you could miss messages that you actually care about.

There are many things here that I don't like, but only a few that I feel could improve the game.

For instance, I like the idea of fixing the chat, switch camera shoulder and fix the camera snap-back, track pursuits, personal bank and the improvement of selling items. But other than that I see only things that would make this game like so many others, and I don't like that idea at all.
Defiance feels unique enough, and I really hope TRION will not make the mistake of making this game into world of lolcraft or star wars the lol republic.

And of course I support the improvement of the Arkfalls, but I cant say I support many more of your ideas.

I haven't read the whole 29 pages, but can a dev or GM or someone related to Trion in some way comment on any of these things or give us some sort of glimpse of what they are working on?

Most successful game of all time or not, we're here not on wow... maybe there's a reason for that? If you wish to continue sucking at the puckered teat of blizzard go back to wow, but don't ask for a ton of changes that are in essence just like wow. Think of something new at least.

Also, no one is going to care about your giant-wall-of-text list of suggestions. You need to pick 1 or two and go into detail. Just reading that list is arduous.

I agree, loot needs to be fixed somehow... though I am sick of colored loot, just give it stats and let us figure out how awesome it is. Colored loot just gives this impression of everything being so finely incremented and robotic. Blue will be this amount better than green and so on. It's pretty meaningless when you get some fated white item that performs better than your purple item, so just get rid of it.

how is it that no one seems to agree with weapon scaling....i think its pretty rediculous that i can pretty much *beat* the game with the tutorial weapons ive been using the same weapons for the past 400 ego points for lack of diversity and strength....

Think of it this way Cankly, It's a shooter first and an MMO last. In shooters you can typically beat the game with your starting weapons. I'd like to see more weapon diversity myself, but this game just doesn't really function in the traditional "leveled" sense. If they changed weapons like that, they'd have to change enemies, areas, instances, bosses, everything.

I see u guys r busy, but after all is said and done u guys prolly want to make money right? here is the key; customization... now ur guys platform is ok, but it lacks depth, i as a player don't only want to attach a maximum of 4 mods, but also want to paint my gun and put a suppressor on it. also, pre-set outfits; lets do something about that huh? and 1 more thing if i may, vehicles, we need more... ALOT more! all sorts! and while ur at it make those customizable too please!
