What is this kind of weapon useful for? Just got one the first, seems bad ^^

Add some mod slots and power it up.. can be very powerful, like a grenade launcher hand gun.

I thought the Flare gun was crap... but then I put in a +4 mag size mod and having 5 shots that do 2.5k damage and does over 100 Dam / sec tic is very useful for me. Also put on a tactical scope to lock on well.

I looted one of these bad boys yesterday, pre-modded with +4 mag. Overlooked it as it's a pistol, as i tend to only use sniper/AR. But jeez, flare gun's a beast - 2-4k headshots, 1 shot'in everything in sight (with in reason).

Makes taking down bigger mobs & topping arkfall damage a breeze

put a +8 mag on it lol i use it for pvp and every thing else

This is what I did. My flare gun has a +8 mag and came with a 0.90 reload speed. Only have a mag mod on it so still looking for a good barrel and stock mod

I power up my light blue version of the gun with mods in all four slors. Holds 11 rounds and does around 1200-1500 with the flame damages around 100-150 a sec.
