    It is still wonky. I was missing all night tonight even when the enemy was 7 feet away. It is a shame too since I put them on my best VOt Meteor bolters.

    Playing Sniper since Release... and since today, its unplayable.

    You aim...have the Head right in your Target.... you fire... you miss... 10 times in a Row.
    I might make a Fraps to prove it.

    And no, my Internet doesnt suck. I got a solid 100k Cable Line, with 19ms.

    I got the same problem. I had to remove all my mods to get rid of scope cause I couldn't hit a mob standing few feet away from me when I was cloaked. But it seems like that problem started after last update.

    Lag has no affect on this, hit detection is client side, we've all known this for a while now.

    The hitboxes however are screwy as hell. Stationary mobs can be shot squad between the eyes repeatedly with some stock scopes and you will miss every time, often having to aim higher or to the lower left of the target almost like the 3rd person right side bias is screwing with it.

    I play sniper as well. Have had no issues.

    The only thing that annoys me is if I headshot someone and it doesn't kill them, when they're stumbling back a bit its like they're invulnerable.
    If you're just going to whine about a game, stop playing it and leave the forums for it.

    I know that I have had this problem, but I attributed it to the lack or (-%) accuracy on the rifle. I do know that when using an Auto/Semi auto Sniper rifle I had this problem almost 100% of the time, but when I do the bolt action it is very little (less than 5% of my shots). But in reading the posts in this thread I began to wonder, if you do a 'time trial' racing mission it has been shown that there is a 4-6 second issue between what we can clock using a stopwatch and the posted times. We know that this is server side. I am wondering now if this is maybe playing into the 'head shot' aspect of the rifles and their misses.

    Sniper rifles are indeed quite glitchy.
    From the hip I zero in on my target, I attempt a quick scope or even the regular usage of it and I zoom in on my target for an accurate shot, and the scope is always wrong. The target is to the far left of where I aimed from the hip every time.
    Then my shields take major hits, or health.

    I too have those same issues getting head shots. I scope in on the head fire and somehow it misses. But I have to shoot the neck for an effective shot.

    I can confirm this has happened to me as well, crosshair on the nose and boom, shooting blanks and no I am not sterile. It seems to be a glitch as at Sutro Tower my orange VOT Bolter was fine however elsewhere it wasn't registering and it seems like this only happening in SF.

    I've never had a major issue wt sniper scope I've used them all. I hit were I'm aiming most of the time, yes I miss sometimes bc that's what happens sometimes.
    For the people that are complaining abt hip aim point to scope aim I just don't get. u would have different aim point when bringing ur scope up just as u would a pistol. This game sometimes pay attention to details and sometimes it doesn't. Like I wish u had better aiming while prone then u would standing bc u would in real life a lot of shooting games do that.
