Customization, clothes etc...

There's no falling damage, vehicles don't need fuel, we can carry tons of weapons at once and so on. That's all about convenience, not realism. Not having any clothes isn't convenient in any way. It's only lazy developers usually, though in this case it could be because they needed to get the game out in time for the series. I never played the beta, but if there were clothes there, I'm sure we'll get them in the game soon enough.

I agree with what everyone here has said, and I'd really like some additional clothing options. Especially the ability to change top/bottom and colouring. One of the best things about previous MMOs I've played is the ability to customise your character's looks and make it a representation of YOU as a player.

Im suprised that after you unlock an outfit you cant mix and match your tops and bottoms.
it would allow for a huge amount of customisation with very little work as the models are already there.

Throwing colours on top would be icing on the cake.

You also have to remember that ALL those games you played did not release like that, and most of them didn't get them even in their first year of play (options for further customizing, after creation). As for the 'variety' .. there are items to be bought in the store, rewards from missions (Nolan's outfit, etc), and you can even get things from PVP. Now I'm not saying that some are reskins -but this allows you to choose a color you like right?. The game is a week or so old, I for one and damn glad they are focused on the play and not the 'Eww I look like everyone else!' because if you haven't noticed we all look the same in real life, and for those of you thinking 'I am unique' so are the 1,000s that look and act just like you being unique!

Actually, yes, most of them did release like that. While additional items are made available at later periods, there is normally a small set of clothing "types" which can be customized with colours/ decals etc. Hell, Dark Age of Camelot (which released 12 years ago) had a very small variety of armor and clothing types. What made it unique was the ability to change colours, and equip clothing in individual slots, and put decals on your cloaks.

You're also taking what I said out of context. While we may all
"look the same in real life", we all have unique and individual features that make us who we are. Hair style, coloring, height, weight, age, fashion sense and above all- expression and mannerisms. Games don't allow that level of detail, so we over compensate in games by allowing customization in other ways.

So yes, I would like additional customization for my characters.

Yeah, I agree. I don't expect whole new outfits, modelled with accessories etc, but the ability to have a colour wheel for primary/ secondary colours would be a very effective and simple solution.

Run the Co-Op maps and do all the achievements for each one. Each Co-Op map has a costume that you can unlock... so that is 7 right there. You also get some for doing certain MAIN STORY missions.

Some you can buy at the starting area, but those are nothing special.

i agree that it's lacking.
it would be so easy to make a bunch of items.
little stuff, like more sunglasses, hats, jackets etc.
the slots to mod are pretty weak too. outfit and hat?
no belt items, nothing else?

dunno, just seems like when you have a game with thousands of
people online in the same area.. you'd want custom options.

Yea a paint and dye system would be cool for clothing and vehicles. Another nice thing to see is if we could customize our vehicles like we can our weapons with add-ons that change the visuals, maybe even an in-vehicle radio station. Id also like to see custom map-markers, if they are in there I havent found them yet. A stamina bar would also be a good addition to the game considering its a TPS. My 2 cents.

What do you mean by custom markers? Like setting a custom way-point, or do you mean a permanent marker on your map?

I really enjoy unlocking outfits that look exactly like the one im wearing. I also really enjoy having my stats reset so i can start all over again towards the same goal i've been trying to achieve for the last couple days. it really brings out the fun in the game. Logging in seeing my hard work reset to zero. Did i mention i really enjoy having an in game shop where i can buy outfits with scrip instead of spending real life money to buy intangible objects.
