im still stuck on nim no matter what i do or what gun i have i cannot get pass my 1st round with the guy i know many people pass this mission but for some reason it not my luck to pass this nim guy i try different gun jumping hiding rolling anyone else having trouble with this stage? or is it just me
Use a gun in main weapon, use a BMG in secondary. This will nullify any real damage he does to you.

I had troubles this past weekend as well. Farthest I pushed him was half way down his second phase, unfortunately. I was using an AR primarily, but I have heard good results with an LMG + Shotgun combo, so I plan on seeing what I can do this weekend with that set up.Originally Posted by earthdragib

I did it with an AR.
He can't be hit when he is blue basically so don't bother shooting him then. Keep strafing to avoid his ranged attacks and when he charges up to do the 3 charge attacks just sprint/roll to the sides. Also stay away from walls when he charges because he can leap off them and attack again.
Edit - Used an AR as well for quick bursts into him
I did it with cloak. P1 is very short if you run in circles til your shield drops, cloak when hes not blue then just empty a mag or two into his face. After p1 the whole fight is just using line of sight.
Wow, lots of threads on nim today.... Can get some tips from the other threads.
Personally, I used a pair of BMGs, so that I could switch to one at 100% when the other was out briefly.
The key I found was to dodge. Most of his attacks, you can just jump off to one side to dodge, but the one that's an absolute killer is when he charges up with blue energy, then charges. As soon as you see him start to charge up with blue energy, roll to the side away from him. If you wait for him to begin moving or right before, it is already too late. You are guaranteed to be hit, unless he just randomly goes away from you.
I just Used a Burst AR and Overload, he went down pretty easy
High capacity AR + Overload for me.
Spray bullets into his head - roll
He shoots/teleports to you - roll then shoot
Rinse and repeat.
