It is fun alone for a while, but it is fun nearly all the time when you play with friends or in a clan, we have races from A to B with our clan mates and do missions arkfalls together and coop, it is ofcourse alot of fun with the clans, and when you just want to murder everything in sight that is fun as well.

Dude, trust me, its worth it. If you don't like the MMO part, just go do the main quest. It's worth the 30 bucks. Buy it on www.G2play.net

The gameplay is fun, so you can't go wrong with that.

Great game so far. Watch gameplay videos post-launch to figure out if it's your kind of game.

If you're still on the fence, wait till the Syfy tv series Defiance comes out.

I would say give it until the 16th, I think that is when the first major patch is coming out. The game itself is very, very good, but is also missing some key features, such as a working chat system (that is a big one for me). Once these things are fixed and the content starts coming in, I would 100% recommend it. Trion are a pretty damn good company especially with community relations and content updates, so i am quite hopeful that they will get it right.

I played/tested this game in Alpha and Beta so I had already seen and done a lot of stuff. Even so, I pre-ordered the live game and got in on the first day so I could enjoy it all over again. For me, it's a lot of fun.

Wait, There are still tons of things that need to be fixed. Better that you get a good experience than to jump in while things are still quiet buggy.

Pretty major patch dropping in about a week, week and a half. I'd wait until then. I'm having fun, but also really hoping this patch addresses the issues I have with the game. It definitely feels like it was launched before being finished.

Id say it's not worth it.
The complete story of the game is that you repeat the same action over and over again.
There's no originality in this game. All ideas are something that you've seen before in other games.
The only thing this game has is a show that airs on tv. But you could just watch the show and live the moment while not playing the game.
It's not worth the bucks if you are looking for something different. I've seen games for free where all the ideas in this game are there for free.
My conclusion. Use your money on something different.

Definitely find it worth the purchase price as it's at least as good as the majority of other titles out there costing the same.

As to the MMO features of it...they could use work (particularly chat/communication - though I suspect little will change there as making it more PC friendly would hurt consoles). But it's pretty solid otherwise.

So end game what is there to do? Is it repetitive stuff? Are they planning on adding dungeon type things or raids or anything of that nature?
