Legendary Weapons in 5 days?

So I just bought this game today but have been at work all day, cant wait to get home. Anyways I'm under the assumption that this game came out April 2 or 3 (5 days ago) and people already have Orange legendary weapons (the best in the game?) in only 5 days?

Please tell me this isnt true and there are better things to achieve after playing for a longer amount of time

They can pop up in Tier 4 lockboxes. It is random. But this isn't your typical MMO, and not your typical loot system, believe me when I say that it is nothing to get too worked up over.

It is true, and it does bother me as well. But you just go with it I guess, and try to unlock them yourself. I hope they release more difficult legendary weapons (for free) like they did for mass effect 3.

You mean ANY Lockbox. I've gotten an Orange item in a Tier 2 and 3 before.

weapon loots are random, and you can buy boxes which have % chance to spawn oranges. I've played since the 4th I think and have only seen a single Orange drop, which poofed because my inventory was filled.

I wouldn't say they are common and unless duplication (which is possible but will be patched soon I'd wager) takes over oranges will be rare.

You have to remember that weapons have a finite lifespan due to the weapon leveling mechanic. All these oranges aren't really going to be used to level weapon proficiency and at the same time they aren't super powered like in other games. An orange right now is a nifty thing to have but in a couple days/weeks they'll just be cluttering your bag or broken down for resources.

If your inventory is full then the item is sent to the Item Claims, check there and it should be there.

YEa u can get them on radom lock boxes. You also dont get loot from Instance Bosses. You ALSO get Purple gear from Vendors once u hit liek 400 LMFAO....FLOP IN PROGRESS
