same thing happened to my assault rifle that i worked long and hard to get and MOD
Same thing just happened to me. brand new assault rifle from main quest Poof
at least it wasnt your long serving main weapon and whats worse is i didnt have a reliable backup
ive had lots of stuff go missing (scrip, guns, shields) but this is the only one i cared about
I just had the same problem. I went to add a mod slot to my main gun and the gun just vanished. Kind of disappointing since It was the only good gun I actually own(ed).
Seems like the safest thing to do here is:
1) Don't use the ark matrix (yes I know it sucks)
2) Keep your most important weapons equipped in atleast 1 load-out (not sure if it helps but I haven't had anything gone missing that was equipped)

Let me rephrase that for you...
I logged into the game and I noticed my weapons were missing. I had the (insert shotgun name here along with stats), and the (insert pistol name here along with stats).

I just had The Heist episode eat an SMG right out of my hands upon entering the instance! I had bought the thing from a vendor just prior to that also. First time going into that instance I had an AR that was in upgrade disappear out of my inventory entirely; poof, gone! Please, help?
Here are some things to avoid doing.
- More than one item in the Salvage Matrix queue
- Having an item in the queue, then joining any type of instance. Co-op, pvp, shadow war
- Adding a fourth mod slot, without equipping the item and then logging out, or joining an instance
I've lost 3 amazing weapons already. The one I miss the most is my Syphon SAW.
