Which Nano effect is the best??

I saw a green EMC service rifle at a normal vendor with fire nano and 3 mod slot. Another rifle, same name, same 3 mod slot, same bonus, but blue quality with electric nano, found at a hidden vendor near minigun challenge.

Does this mean electric is better than fire? Does electric damage shield more and fire does more to health? The green circle (toxic I think) seems to upgrade your bullet damage by a bunch.

Dark matter soldiers, they shoot blue bullets, same color as electric bullets, but not sure if it is. They seem to kill me fast in large number. I was wondering if wearing electric resistance shield will help.

Not sure there really is a best, mostly about preferences. Fire does DoT damage and can cause enemies to panic. Electricity can stun enemies and I've also noticed it doing very minor DoT damage as well. Toxic, as you noticed, increases enemy susceptibility to damage. The purple icon, syphon, leeches health (and supposedly shield as well).

Haven't worked too much with damage resists on shields, so I can't offer any insight into how effectively they mitigate damage.

I'm sorry, but there is not "BEST" in this game. This game is skill-based. You choose what you have the skills to play with.

I already noticed that syphon and toxic are better than the rest, dps wise. Shotguns and sniper rifles with syphon has biggest burst damage, IMO. Toxic is better with sustain damage guns AR/LMG/SMG.

I roll with electricity, generally, since I like locking down my targets in place and popping them in the dome with a burst of bullets.

you couldnt be more wrong. the nano effect has a very small part of skill based if anything at all. skill based refers to aim, play tactics, communication with team mates etc. the nano effects dont take skilled gamers to use them

the op is asking as in overall weapon stats, which to answer the question is that there isnt a best nano effect overall. thats preference. but im sure the nano's are better than other in certain situations and enemies... as im sure some take down shields quicker, affect non shielded enemies as well as robotic enemies.
