Will Defiance have any chance of survival once Destiny comes out?

There are not more PC gamers than console gamers, otherwise there would more focus on PC game development versus console, and sales charts would be telling a different story. Also, the traditional PC is fading away. Tablets, Smartphones and Netbooks are replacing them in the average household.

lol, those are physical sales only, places like Steam and even Trion do not release information about how many are sold through their digital service, in fact no digital service releases their information about how many sold. So that 80K is physical sales only.

It was reported that there was a total of 1 million sold, so your numbers are showing about 540,000 copies missing. Wanna guess where those sales are? Yup, from digital sales, and digital sales are no where as near as popular on the consoles as they are on the PC.

Also, there are about 1 Billion PC gamers world wide, with about 250 Million of them being Core gamers (the type to buy AAA games). Xbox360, Wii, and Playstation sold under 300 million world wide. Just to put things into perspective for you.

Also, it has been predicted that PC game sales will over take Console game sales by 2016. Console games sales have been going down and down for a very long time now, where as PC gaming sales have only been rising. It is actually console gaming that is being threatened by smartphone, tablets.

I'm sorry. I have a problem relaying my thoughts on this dumb computer screen. Yes, this game has the potential to stand up, but that's not what i'm seeing as a hardcore gamer that plays this casually. For the record, wtf is Destiny, i'm not a halo fan. I'm talking about games i think will hurt this

This game will die with new console arrival, and Destiny will take me with it. This game is fun but has too many flaws and not nearly enough content to keep me here for long.
