TV show first thoughts

Im not fan boy but I thought they did well with the budget they have for the show. Most shows on that network have to build to a budget.

I think the protagonists are convincing, the make-up could be better as well as the polish on the CGI. As far as being hung up on a vehicle being called a "roller", one could assume it derived as an all encompassing term for personal travel. Instead of truck, car, motorcycle, 4 wheeler and what not. It does bother me as it's supposed to distance us from their culture a bit and hear/see something new.

After all, we do have worse slang now for ordinary items.

I haven't seen the preview yet but since I enjoy the game I'll at least watch the first few episodes o the show if I can. One thing I've been trying to find out is whether or not the show ill be available to watch on the SyFy video app on Xbox live. I don't have cable but it'd just be weird if it's not.

Absolutely enjoyed the first 15 minutes of the Series, and I plan to watch the Pilot episode.

I too enjoyed what they showed us. I especially liked the father-daughter relationship and how he got her to calm down with a shared song. hahaha.

The only part I disliked was their careless attempt to exit the crashed ark with their spoils. Don't go toward the vehicles and shouting!!! Duh.

I enjoy the game, even with its current quirks.

Thoughts before I get censored and this thread gets closed?

To the first, that's news to me considering all I see you do is complain about the game. To the second, why would you be censored for this when all you seem to do is talk negatively? Were you censored before? There are lots of negative threads on here, and they usually go on for quite awhile before being shut down.

As for the show, I was mildly interested before I played the game simply because I've enjoyed some of the other shows this group of people has worked on. After playing the game I became much more interested. I enjoyed the first 14 minutes, but then again my expectations were low despite what I said about the other shows these people had a hand in making. Expectations kill fun.

Man, I loved the first 14 minutes. I thought it zipped along. They did so much in that short amount of time. Like the effects, too. They certainly put a lot of money on the screen. I realize they aren't perfect, but for an ambitious TV show of this scope, they did a good job of stretching the budget from what we've seen.

I've been frustrated, but have still kept playing. My frustration stems from what it could be. Also, I have some 200 posts, think you've seen everything I've said? Believe I've bumped into you in about two or three threads, but okay.

And yes, censored before. Hence the comment.

I see more people are excited about it than I thought, which is a good sign for them. Hopefully it gets better (than what I've seen) otherwise, I wish them the best, and I will just sit out on the show. But i do want to see what they do to tie the shows events in to the weekly episodes in-game.

I personally find it quite hard to carry on in life without making expectations.
