hehe i fear indeed i am from a different side off the scene maybe other generation as well (early 80s).
+ as you say you shunned the elite *****,i knew the elite ***** and while i agree that humanity is within certain places the catle no one has the right to regard himself above a other person in my view.
Thats also one off the reasons i broke with those circles.

And ind that post was about Luigi Russolo, call me old but for me its important that ppl know the roots off thigns.

a big + also to you Kitty some KMFDM there.

Well since you 2 here do like the style here are some off my own tracks.
    A bit slow rhytmic noise

    more atmospherical

    atmospherical storytelling

    and harsh noise :P

on my channel there are also some old idm tracks i made.
    Have fun

Yeah, I'm only 30, so my time in the scene was in the early to mid 2000s. Also like to note that I lived in a college town of about 100k people or so. I recall visiting some clubs in New Orleans and the people there took the **** pretty serious. Believed they were vampires or practiced some occult religion of sorts and thought very highly of themselves. Needless to say me and my crew of small town weirdos laughed at these clowns. So I assume "the scene" is quite different depending on where you're from.
I don't do the club thing either any more (although I miss it). Life got in the way and I've moved around a lot and lost touch with old friends, and besides, I'm getting too old to wear make up and leather pants.

I'll give your stuff a listen later, this computer's speakers are ****ed.

Fuzzy for me personal its a tad harder to ignore since i used to walk in certain circles .
They were my friends at a time but at a certain moment they went to far imo so i took distance.

Imagen a room with ppl dressed as **** officers refusing any form off intimicy as its just for animels while their friends act out sm in the other room all to the tunes off sutcliffe jugend link added below.

Then after 4 hours we all went to see laibach and dive+numb,f me man about 240 ppl from all over europa
dressed in uniforms standing in rows watching the stage.

Lol that night was to much for me so after that i still have love for the music but not for certain atitiudes.
Like you say satire /shock is fine all the rest is a bridge to far for me.

Btw skinny puppy and frontline assembly (untill and including hard wired-to much guitar after that) are awsome. In the old ebm i am sure you have a spot for front 242 and leatherstrip.
Wumpscut i only liked his early work/music for a slaughtering tribe-dried blood-gommora and the mesneer tracks. Most favorite song is dying culutre and concrete rage.

Lol kinda going derail in this thread i feel but its always nice to meet a fellow ebm/indus lover that knows his roots.

and sigh cannot leave it to once in a while listen...(its amazing how well preserved this old stuff still sounds almost 20 years later)

i appreciate the link, and I understand. i haven't ever been personally involved, but it's always interested me.

However, that song by Sutcliffe Jugend, I do not understand. Seemed just like lots of static with like screaming in the background. Idk what I was hearing exactly.

@Bleuzarro mostley they sing/scream about serial killers and acts of **** ect.
When ppl i knew had this in their collection i was always like hmm kk.

+again no problem and knowledge is always good as long as you respect your own boundries.

@Fuzzy You bring a smile on my face, myself i am to old aswell for the makeup ect,in the end we
used to manifest whats inside with clothing ect while its a state of mind.
On the occult side i understand you had to laugh with them as the theatrics of goths can be pretty
insane and laughterprovoking. In that regard the ppl i was befriended with had strong ties to the
Thule society and also practiced various arts. But again the selfproclaiming off being better then
    others is moronic.
+you can listen whenever you want.

@Kitty Thank you. On my channel oreursus on youtube you can find more.

Any off you fiddeling with music btw?

Right now I'm at work listening to the god aweful radio.
I'm about to put in Florence & the Machine's album Ceremonials.....I'm a bit obsessed but I'm just glad my coworkers let me have free reign when it comes to the music.

I shamelessly love this cover of The Runaways - Cherry Bomb by Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart

@fsol: I wish, I can't afford/don't have the knowledge of what I'd need to be able to do so.
I like messing about with my voice and audacity, though. Does that count? [[random noise]]

One of my musician friends was trying to educate me last weekend cuz I'm interested in buying a keyboard or something that I can whip into my PC, but he forgot that I know NOTHING about that stuff and he went into all this techy talk that I didn't understand. DX
Plus he only linked me to some oldschool machines that were like $3k when I said I had about £200 I could spend on this.
