Don't pay any attention. He was referring to actual Arkfalls, whereas I am talking about the mobs in the arkfalls. There is no physical way that the major arkfall that requires you to kill waves of hellbugs would not increase your skill gain just a little bit.Originally Posted by Predator
The sad truth about weapon exp. I have to carry 9 LMG's at all times due to their damage output. They cap out in co-op dungeons or just when I am out and about. This is what my Inventory looks like xD.

Just a little update from me:
In the last two days my weaponskills progessed again, but after leveling assaultrifles to 8 it dropped to 6 some minutes after leveling. It´s really annoying and I hope Trion is on that.
When I was little, we found a man. He looked like, butchered. The old woman in the village crossed themselves... and whispered crazy things, strange things. "El Diablo cazador de hombres." Only in the hottest years this happens. And this year, it grows hot. We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skins... and sometimes much, much worse. "El cazador trofeo de los hombres" means the demon who makes trophies of men.
I think I have narrowed this down to Arkfalls.
After running arkfalls constantly for an hour I noticed no gain at all on my assault rifle. I decided then to stop doing them and started a few random events. Immediately without changing load-outs I noticed that I was gaining skill exp again.
I am prity sure this is one of the bug fixes in the upcoming patch. It has happened to me before then all of a sudden it worked fine the next day.
