Did I get jipped?

Ok, we'll I just completed the current content including the side missions, but from start to finish I didn't get one descent weapon or mod, infant nothing above blue and blue was EXTREMELY rare... Is this normal? Or are loot tables bugged?
Oh and to put my posts title in context...
If its a bug, the my character just got jipped. Lol.
Btw thoroughly enjoyed the current content, although it seemed to be a lot better near the start, seemed to get watered down the more I progressed.

You must have got a few purples, you get at least one for finishing the episodic missions.

However assuming you're not counting mission rewards, you sir (or madam) are what is commonly know as unlucky.

I also share your affliction, I've had a few blues and no purples outside of missions so far.

Yeah seems you've been pretty unlucky there... Im probably about half way through (as Im forcing myself to go slow) and ive had at least 5 purple weapons but to be honest mate - you didnt miss out on anything trust me.

Nah wasn't counting specified mission rewards, just random rewards and loot.
Yeah I know all the items are generally exactly the same, I mean I used that episode purple ar for the whole game, didn't even mod it, still took down nim.. Lol
I would love to see them rework progression in this game so we can see a difference between Lvl 1 and Lvl 40... Lol
But I'm sure purple shields and mods have to have some difference?
I've got about 60k scrip because there was nothing worth buying, making currency and loot tables in general in this game pointless from what I can see, you don't even need to use ego... Lol

Only difference is what mods come with it and how many mod slots are avialble - You could get a sniper which is green doe the same amount of damage and accuracy as a purple but the purple would come with say three mods already attached ? apart from that the colour loot system doesn't differ from weapon to weapon.
