I'll revive anyone I see that's downed and is in a position where I won't get slaughtered trying to do it. Of course that also means I have to first notice they are down and find them.... which is not always an easy task.

I always try to revive players when I can. I hate when im doing something and theres people around me in an in game group because (I have had this happen to me) I could be right beside another downed player in there group and they will revive there group mate but rather then revive me the think it would be funny to tea bag me ERG children playing a mature (17+) game makes me so mad.
How do I revive another player when he/she is down. I have tried to figure it out but have failed to revive anyone. BTW I am playing on a PS3 system. Thank you for your help in advance.
the whole revive thing is OP and should be taken out of the game.

Same here.
I think it would also be helpful if you had a meter telling you that you were being revived as well. This should help with people self-reviving while being revived by others.
I generally try to revive others when i can, and if i hear someone saying low health i pan the camera to check for the injured.
but to anyone who doesn't know,
* don't self revive near someone else you will wipe out there shields, and probably get the person who was trying to help you killed.
* don't crawl away from the person healing you because if you go out of range the revive will fail
Yep, I can not bring up any menus when down. Broken record but it would be very useful if downed players were easier to see especially around arkfalls when it is complete chaos. A big glowing sign above the body would be very helpful. If I do not see them in the first few seconds I will go back to shooting. I have noticed that there has been an increase in the number of players who are willing to do revives which is all to the good.
