The issue of requiring a full group of four for co-ops, is something the Dev Team are looking at, according to the August Livestream:
I'm hoping a solution will be released for testing on PTS soon.
If we can maybe start with one or two players for example, it might also be good to have the option to prevent players joining at the last minute (unless they are friends / clan mates or whatever). Better group permissions would be great. I'm hoping they will utilize the new Dev Team members to improve all aspects of the game, where possible.
To the original thread topic; if it is possible to just play the map solo or with a friend, then hopefully the Decoy problems won't apply.
