A few questions about cross platform and log-in's

K, I pre-ordered the game for both 360 and PS3. The biggest questions I need to know is:

1: IS this really cross platform? Where PC, 360 and PS3 players can all play together? Cause I keep hearing its cross platformed for all to play but while talking to a agent with Trion about ym account today over the phone I was told that they are not, each have their own platform only so PC can only play with PC, 360 with 360 players, ect so I need to clear this up and know before I get it for both.

2: If it is cross platform will I be able to go and log-in on both the accounts then on each system, like if I'm playing on the PS3 then I go into my other room where my 360 is will I be able to log into that account I was just on and play on there , ect for the other account then two since I will have two accounts from having two games .

Mainly like how Final Fantasy XI was on PC, 360 and PS2 and we can all play with one an other no matter what system we were on and can also log-in to all three versions and play one the same characters no matter the system we were on.

If some one could clear this questions for me I would most appreciate it. Thank you.

It's not cross platform like trion said on phone.

No the 3 platforms can not play with other platforms. If your on PC you only get to play with other PC players and the same with the ps3 and xbox. They have talked about it I believe but I don't know if they ever will.

you can have 3 characters one on each platform but they are not the same. you cant have you xbox person be a level 55 and then switch to your ps3 version and continue leveling him up itll be a different person

There's no real need for 2 copies. Unless you have tons of friends on both platforms. And it's not like the console version is a port. It was built for the consoles and built for PCs. So you'll get the same experience.

Well I'm getting two versions cause I will want to play on the PS3 at times in the living room, when Miss. Wolf kicks me out to play some thing she wants or watch Netflix/Hulu then I can go to my game room and play on the 360, that's why I was happy thinking I could play both accounts on both platforms, so I can log-in to my 360 with the PS3 account and have 3 more toons, I could at lest work with that.

Your answer to #2 is wrong. You can link all three systems, pc, ps3, and xbox360, to one account. But, the characters don't transfer between systems.
