Since it has been widely requested I am writing this guide to nano effects, it will be short and brief as I realize many of you are starring at the little weapon emblems and EGO talents and going.. WTF is that?
1. Incendiary
Symbol = Flame (Orange / red)
Effect = Puts a timed Fire DOT on your target when activated. Also changes your weapons ammo graphics to fire.
2. Radioactive
Symbol - Radioactivity (Green)
Effect - Weakens and Corrodes targets armor, making them easier to kill once their shield is gone. (Especially good for bosses), changes weapon fire to green splash.
3. Biological
Symbol - Bio hazard (Blue)
Effect - Slows your target, and decreases their attack damage. Changes weapon fire to brown glop.
4. Electricity
Symbol - Lightning Bolt (Light Blue)
Effect - Disrupts your targets Hud, Making it almost impossible for them to aim, target, or see any type of readout. Changes weapon fire to light blue energy pulses.
5. Siphon
Symbol - Swirl (Purple)
Effect - Shield and Health siphon - Siphons both shield and health from your target as direct hit and Dot form. Exact % based on damage is unknown as of yet. Changes weapon fire to purple and black energy pulses.
6. Corrosion
Symbol - Triangle and circle (Blue with green splash) VERY RARE
Effect - Radioactive and Biological Nano effects. Corrodes targets armor, Slows target, decreases targets damage. Changes weapon fire to blue green splash.
Other information -
Ego talents which state "Nano Perks" in their title directly effect the above weapons and items.
