Votan Blast Rifle is the lowest DPS gun in the game the 25ROF does not compensate for the miniscule 40 base damage. If you want a good Votan rifle get the VOT Mazu Blast Rifle which sports 172 base damage and a 14ROF.

Did you try the Blast-Rifle? You didnt? How i know that? Quite simple, the Blast-Rifle has a significient better DPS then the Mazu. See, the Damage-Value is a little out of context, its 40x6, at an 25 ROF. Thats 240x25=6K DPS, well, point blanc if everything hits.

Okay, someone on the german forum corrected me - says its only 40x3. Well, - anyway better than the Mazu
I got my hands on a Purple Blast rifle the other day and I must say I am pleasantly surprised by how well its working out. It absolutely destroys anything that doesn't have a shield at medium-close range and if they do have a shield well that's what overcharge and 50 rounds are for...
Can't wait until I finally find the right mods for the gun, its taking me quite a while to find what I want for it.
