Raiders are easy to kill with right tactics

1 - Cloack and good skills with sniper rifles = easy distant kills, take your time for headshots

2 - Fire can be your best friend. Put on fire Raiders that stand near toghether = use fire grenade, rocket launchers that put on fire ( Bonfire rocket launcher). With little effort they die on their own after set on fire

3- On the more armored Raiders types with plenty of health, change loadout and switch to OVERLOAD + powerfull assault rifle.

4 - if you play with friends, use all Infectators and spread the sickness !

I have to agree about the Blitzer's. They aren't so bad that they make things impossible. But they are insanely accurate with their SMGs. They can bullseye a target from extreme range and running sideways. And not just one shot, but all of their shots. They really need to add some recoil and bullet drop to their SMGs. That or drop their bullet damage a tad.

If one jumps out and I don't peg him in the forehead with a bullet, he can drop my shields in one second flat. I've only fought Mutants, Hellcrabs and Raiders so far. Out of those the Raider Blitzers are the second most deadly mobs I've faced. The only thing that surpasses them are the grenade mutants. Those guys are a serious pain.

They aren't bad enough to need a severe nerf. Just have them miss a little is all. For things that are mentally unhinged running around wildly and holding their SMG with only one hand, they shouldn't be that accurate at range. Especially not when firing 10-20 round bursts like they do.

The rest of the Raiders are pretty easy, especially if you're a sniper. Snipe the Blasters and remember to dodge their rockets. The shield ones are easy. If you shoot their pony-tail sticking out above the top of their shield while they are coming at you, that still counts as a head shot. Or you can throw a grenade at them. The tankers aren't bad either, just shoot over their shoulder and hit their backpack till they go down on a knee. Then unload on their backpack unit. Once they stand up, get ready to quickly dodge three times in a row. Then rinse and repeat.

I just chalk it up like this in respect to blitzers...they use aimbot lol. Even when running behind trees where they shouldn't be able to even see my outline they are stupidly accurate. If one of them charges at my cover I wait till he is behind it and just melee him to death and repeat if I can, keeps them from firing/reloading/ect.

I was trying to figure out why raiders were giving me so much problem now, but I used to have decoy and now I have cloak. Decoy was easy mode.

Blitzers were the least of my problems, for some reason it was the damn rioters that annoyed me. But like mentioned above just shoot their pony-tails for head shots or running up to them and melee smashing them, even with shield up, will knock them back and stun them for a couple of seconds.

When the tankers go down on their knee, they lift their face plate like hulkers do... shoot in the face for very quick work.

I do try and get some cover between me and the bullets but every mission seems to be 'press square at the hot-spot and then the enemy spawn around you'. It has gotten to the point that i ready my quad beforehand and then turbo the hell out so i have some distance.

I have only used Overcharge so maybe it's time to respec to Decoy or Cloak.
What the objectives should say is "Murder everyone in the general vicinity, then press square at the hot spot." It's a lot easier to interact with objects when nobody is shooting you and I don't remember any places in missions that have an inexhaustible supply of mobs. There may be a few places where doing an objective early will end a wave sooner, but they are more likely to trigger a new wave while the old one is still active.

In most cases, if the game is telling you to hurry up and do something, you probably have all the time in the world to do it.

Explosives make short work of them. Either use a grenade launcher or an assault rifle/shotgun combo with whatever power and keep moving. Use of cover and strafing combined with a shield with a short recharge delay make them not much of a problem.
