isn't it fantastic how the conversation gravitates to antagonistic responses when different views are shared on the same thing? my opinion: graphics<gameplay. there. done.

what i dont get, is why people are acting like all of this is new. those of us who aren't new to the mmo scene should well expect there to be issues on launch day. there ALWAYS is. there is always bugs, glitches, and things that go wrong. thats what comes with the territory of online gaming. you all can sit and ****in rage all you want. i, on the other hand, will be in game, having a blast. because out of all the things i COULD do about the in game issues, i choose to just enjoy the game, and wait for them to fix things, instead of whining like a self entitled brat. not everyone whines like that mind you, but some.......
Gotta love how many threads morph into PCs vs Consoles. Humans are stupid. That is all.
or the reviewer is being thorough. that was a poor choice of words you used, perhaps you should have said if a review focuses heavily on graphics the reviewer is an idiot. - that i would agree with, stupid people are drawn to shiny/pretty objects after all
no game really needs super impressive graphics all that used up space takes away space for things that actually matter
this is my first MMO launch and even i expected issues i mean its a worldwide network linking 100s of people at the same time - there are kinks to work out
i rage cuz there are real issues that are being ignored (not even being acknowledged) while the developers make patches to fix the f**kin tutorial which is fine the way it is (it could have waited is my point)
Reviews have been taking graphics into account since...forever? The graphics actually look really nice on the PC, but the consoles are showing their age. There is only so much that can be done. Graphics have a lot to do with the art style, which has a lot to do with how immersed you will become in the world. With a game like this, immersion is very important, as that is what is going to bring people back every week after the episodes air, because content isn't going to keep people interested for long.
we all have our opinions on what is the most important aspect of gaming. hell, its why we're gamers. but think of this for a sec. WE all have been playing since either launch, or beta (i played beta) and we've gotten WAY past that part, but what about NEW players?
A superior gaming platform with 24GB of useless RAM. Anymore than 8GB is pointless in a gaming rig. If you use the machine for running multiple resource heavy media applications more than 8GB comes in useful. Other than that it's just expensive silicon using up Lego slots.
